What devices are compatible with the SharpDrive solution?
One of the beauties about SharpDrive is that it can be used across all operating systems: on Mac, Windows, iPhone or Android. And you can use anytime, anywhere and on any device!
What will I learn with SharpDrive training?
SharpDrive will improve trainees knowledge of and attitude to driving. The interactive programme is a proactive way you can help keep your business and your drivers safe. It’s also an idea catalyst for organisations wishing to lower their fleet running costs, gain effective health and safety compliance and reduce their fleet crash rate.
Isn’t it more beneficial to learn driving skills while actually driving, not online?
SharpDrive training is uniquely different to skilled base training, as it’s focused on attitudes and behaviours of driving. Topics covered include distractions, fatigue, mobile phone use, speeding and drugs and alcohol to name a few.
Why would an organisation use SharpDrive?
Organisations have an obligation to provide a safe mobile workplace. This primary duty requires them to eliminate risks to health and safety or, if that is not reasonably practicable, to minimise risks so far as is reasonably practicable. SharpDrive assists in risk minimisation.
How long do I have to complete the driver safety training?
When you sign up to SharpDrive you have access to the course training modules for 12 months. However, each individual training module is approximately four minutes in duration so you can complete a module and the course itself, in a very concise time period. We recommend you make it work best for your organisation and your individual drivers, with the assurance you have access to the course material for a year.
How do I log in to SharpDrive?
When your company joins SharpDrive, the administrator will be sent an email with a link they need to click on to confirm their subscription. The administrator will also be provided instructions on how to invite colleagues to join.
I’ve forgotten my Login details, what do I do?
It’s simple, click on the ‘Forgotten my password’ link on the Login screen and you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to gain access again to SharpDrive.
How do I invite others in my organisation to do the training?
SharpDrive provides an organisation Dashboard, where the administrator can invite drivers directly from the portal. Alternatively, if you’d like to add a bulk list of new users, you can contact us on email@example.com
and we’ll assist you with this process.
How will I know when someone has viewed/completed a module?
You’ll be able to check who in your organisation has completed a module by going to the Dashboard and clicking on User Progress Report, which will bring up a list of people who have completed that particular module with a timestamp of when they completed it.
It would be great if I could provide a certificate to those who complete the course successfully, is that possible?
It sure is! Once the driver has completed all modules in their course successfully, they will be emailed a PDF certificate that they can keep on file and also choose to print out if they wish.
How do I know that a SharpDrive Certificate is real?
